About Trident Software

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Trident Software commenced trading in 1998. Later incorporated as Trident Software Pty. Ltd. (Australian Business Number 73 092 435 231), it has continued to improve PowerZip, providing its customers with a state-of-the-art compression product.

At Trident Software, we believe that there is always room for improvement. That's why we continue to innovate, listening to users' requests and suggestions and constantly improving PowerZip to deliver a state-of-the-art compression tool. The first version of PowerZip - PowerZip 1.0 - came out in mid-1997. Since then, we have released PowerZip 2.0, 3.0, 3.5x, 3.6, 4.0x, 4.5x, 5.01, 5.2, 6.0, 6.5 and now PowerZip 7.0. At the moment, we have a wide range of customers in more than 100 countries on 6 continents, from home users to very large organizations.

In mid-2002 we have begun offering an online service - TridentList. TridentList is an affordable, fully-automatic opt-in e-mail list management service. We intend to offer more web services in the future.
